Helvemed extends its innovative product line in the area of prevention of infections contracted during medical treatments. The risks of eye contamination are often not sufficiently recognized, although they definitely pose a real danger, especially during surgical operations using instruments that generate aerosols or other sprays of biological fluids.
Helvemed surgical prime face masks are soft, odourless, latex-free, fibreglass free, non-woven and non sterile. They provide you with both very high filtration efficiency and a high level of breathability. For your security they are made of four layers of material. The high resistance to fluids splashes is guaranteed by a special film, made of a hexagonal structure polyethylene net. Additionally, a special polypropylene microfibres filter guarantees a barrier effect against the biological contamination risk. Helvemed surgical masks are eco-friendly.
A stripe made of a laminated soft foam is bonded at the internal layer of the masks in order to provide a soft contact with your face. It also prevents the warm air inside the masks from going up, obliging the air to go out by the sides. Thus, it avoids the annoying fogging of the visors. Consequently, wearers can work in perfect conditions.
To ensure the best possible comfort, Helvemed visors are submitted to a special treatment that makes them anti-fogging on both sides. Please note that we highly recommend using the noseband to perfectly shape and seal the mask against your face. Furthermore, the visors are antistatic, flexible and liquid splash resistant. They are made of a very transparent and special polyester film which is studied to avoid any optical distortion. Ultrasonic sealing.
